Do you also love the acidic smell of vinegar, have you always wanted to go wild on a heap of carrots or are you passionate about saving food waste? Then come to our Keep Fresh preservation workshop!
We will bring leftover veggies from a local Viennese farm, if you could bring your own jars, then we can make the workshop a long-lasting memory. During the workshop, you will be able to learn about pickling vegetables and help to prevent food waste. While cleaning, cutting and cooking the veggies, we also invite you to chat and connect. The topic of food production and food waste touches all of our lives, so connecting with one another may give us inspiration on how to take a different approach in preserving food. At the end of the evening we go back to our communities with full stomachs and full jars.
Participation in the workshop is free/donation-based. People from all backgrounds and all levels of prior knowledge are welcome to join. We kindly ask to register in advance so we can plan accordingly. Nevertheless, spontaneous decisions are also welcome as it isn’t always easy to plan beforehand.
Max: 13 participants
