From May to September, we’re out in Vienna’s parks and squares: same place, same time, twice a week. Come by when it suits you. No registration, no fee, no experience needed.
A circle, a park, two hours of your time
A movement educator guides the group through simple exercises anyone can follow. Music plays, people dance, talk, share a meal. If you want to join in, step into the circle. If you’d rather watch, take a seat at the edge – you’re just as much part of it.
Movement is a language that doesn’t need translation. Wherever you come from, however old you are, whenever you last danced: you just need to be there.
Kicking off in Leopoldstadt 1020 Vienna – Volkertplatz
Opening Event on the 21th of August 2026:
Together with the Youth Center at Volkertplatz we’ll kick off the season in 2nd district on 21th of August with an open programme. The first workshop starts at 6:00 pm.
Twice a week: free dance and movement workshops
Fridays, 21. August | 28. August | 04. September each time from 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Wednesdays, 26. August | 02. September | 09. September each time from 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Meeting point: table with the violet table cloth, in front of the Youth Center.

The park you walk through becomes the park you go to.
