VOLUNTARY ENGAGEMENT

Would you like to get involved? Talk to us at one of our community events or write us an informal email in which you briefly tell us how you would like to get involved. The possibilities are many and varied and if you don’t have any clear ideas yet, we’re sure to find something together that feels good and meaningful for you! 


COMMUNITY EVENTS

Get to know the people in and around the Civil Action Network by coming to our regular community events. There are three different formats:

Stammtisch (every month)
Every second thursday of the month we are meeting with people who are already connected to CAN, who are stakeholders from partner organisations or who want to get to know us and learn more about our vision and projects. These evenings are there to create an informal atmosphere and an easy monthly connection point for people in the CAN universe and for those who would like to enter it.

CANtogether (every 3 months)
Four times a year we are having a bigger community event with a similar target group as Stammtisch. While there is no schedule for the monthly meeting, there is always a planned programme for CANtogether. There is usually a meal together, sometimes there are cultural events such as film screenings or live concerts and often there are also moderated conversations and exchanges.

CAN Gathering (every 6 months)
Twice a year, we spend 3 to 4 days together in the countryside, celebrating what we have achieved in the previous six months, planning and developing new and existing project ideas and strengthening our interpersonal relationships by simply being together. As this event is a bit more intense, it is mostly attended by people who are already in the CAN universe, but it is nevertheless open to anyone who feels addressed by it.
