Join us on the 21st of November for our workshop & community gathering – CAN together. Before we chat over good food, you can join a workshop in the framework of our project “Voice 4 Youth”. The project aims to strengthen community bonds and social engagement skills among young adults in Vienna.

One of our experienced moderators will give a quick introduction to the format and then we will experience a storytelling café as participants. Afterward we will reflect on it as a method for your own social engagement.

Storytelling Cafés focus on the personal experience. They provide space for speaking, listening and resonance. They have potential to resolve high stakes debates by enabling exchange on difficult topics.  Moderating and hosting such a space can be a difficult but rewarding experience – and is a valuable skill!

What will happen?

16:00 – 17:00: Open Doors, come and hang out

17:00 – 19:30: Storytelling Café – Learning by experiencing (in english!).

19:40 –  20:00: What is the Civil Action Network and how can you get involved?

20:00 – 22:00: Shared dinner & open hangout
