Peacewalk 2026 Austria

What is this project about?

Peacewalk 2026 is a 15-month walking journey from cities across Europe to Jerusalem — a collective movement for peace and justice, passing through Austria in the summer of 2026. From Vorarlberg to Vienna, the Peacewalk travels through historically significant landscapes, including the NS memorial sites of Mauthausen, Melk, and Schloss Hartheim. At each station along the route, we hold open peace dialogues: space for honest conversation about memory, responsibility, and lived solidarity. Civil Action Network serves as the official country coordinator for Austria.
